COLOUR GUARDS
COLOUR GUARD
The TMB Color Guard is a choreographic formation that adds value and complements Marching Band performances using a variety of choreographic props, such as flags, rifles and swords. These two formations often perform together during competitions and events.
Over the years, the concept of Color Guard has evolved, becoming a specific discipline that goes beyond the simple visual support of the marching band's performance, transforming itself into an indoor sports practice in its own right, with specific competitions during the winter or spring season. During these events, color guards perform technical-artistic programs accompanied by recorded music from various musical genres.
The TMB Color Guard has successfully participated in events such as the Winter Guard International UK in England and the Color Guard Netherland in Holland.
The Color Guard project began several years ago with clinics conducted by Dutch instructors and subsequently saw a fruitful collaboration with leading instructors such as Richard Gubby and Greg Howard, coming from renowned European groups such as the Mayflower Performing Arts and the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps .
The TMB Color Guard is open to all those who share a passion for dance, movement and interpretation, offering the opportunity to compete with Italian and European groups in a discipline that unites different art forms. The Winter Guard project is renewed annually, while specific Color Guard courses are available throughout the year, open to girls and boys, through weekly lessons, band camps and training clinics.
